  • The Best is Yet to Come!!

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.””

The daily grind is, well, a grind.  Life so often is best described as difficult.  Even as believers we can become consumed with the daily cares and grind that we lose the enjoyment of life.  While we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing of heaven we have a tendency to forget the great benefits of our glorious salvation.  As Paul explained to the Christians at Corinth he tells them God has something amazing for those who love Him.  And God has something amazing for you.   Without a doubt, the very best is yet to come for a believer.

Do you believe that?  Do you believe the very best is yet to come for you as a believer?

In case your view is cloudy, even dark here are a few reminders:
John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2  “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3  “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

John 17:24 has Jesus praying, “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Rev. 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2  Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3  And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4  “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5  Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” 6  And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

Rev. 22:1  And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2  In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3  And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4  They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5  There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

What a future He is preparing for us.  One can only imagine. Without a doubt, the very best is yet to come for a believer. Kinda makes one homesick for heaven.

“If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.” C.S. Lewis

Yes, ponder on the future with Jesus but keep working for Jesus in the present!

Until we get home we need to remember also that He is working all things together for our good who love Him! (Romans 8:28)

Continue Strong knowing the best is still to come,
And Remember to Date the Word
